Peralta Adobe second-story vantage

The Peralta Adobe, built in 1797 and located on the historic downtown plaza, is the oldest building in San José and preserves 18th-century sightlines. Its second-story windows and roofline provide a surviving colonial-era viewpoint over the original Plaza de San José, showing how early residents would have looked out onto the settlement. The site is operated as a historic house museum with access that lets visitors experience those historic perspectives.
