Anglo Scotian Mills

The Anglo Scotian Mills, a former lace factory located in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, is a Grade II listed building with a rich history dating back to the 1870s. Established by Francis Wilkinson, the mill faced significant challenges, including two devastating fires in 1886 and 1892 that led to extensive damage and loss. The current structure was completed in 1892, designed by architect James Huckerby. Over the years, the mill transitioned from lace production to various manufacturing uses, including electrical components, before being converted into luxury apartments in 2000.
