The Dakota - Rosemary's Baby exterior

The Dakota apartment building's exterior at 1 West 72nd Street was used as the Bramford in Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby (1968). The film uses the Dakota's distinctive exterior for many establishing shots and the building is closely associated with the movie's setting. Interior scenes depicting the apartment were filmed on sets rather than inside the Dakota.
