Richardson Block

The Richardson Block is a historic collection of commercial buildings located at 113-151 Pearl and 109-119 High Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. Constructed after the Great Boston Fire of 1872, these neo-Greek structures were designed by William Preston and built using salvaged granite and brick. The site has historical significance as a center for the leather goods industry and is one of the few remaining examples of its architectural style in Boston's Financial District. Recognized for its historical value, the Richardson Block was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and is currently being considered for Boston Landmark status.
