Ford Building (San Diego)

The Ford Building, a striking Streamline Moderne structure located in Balboa Park, San Diego, is home to the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Originally built by the Ford Motor Company for the California Pacific International Exposition in 1935, it showcases a unique design resembling a V8 engine, complete with a fountain shaped like the Ford logo. After serving various purposes, including a temporary military training facility during WWII, the building was saved from demolition and transformed into a museum in 1980.
