Klyde Warren Park - 5.2-acre deck park over Woodall Rodgers Freeway

Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre public park constructed on a deck built over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway and opened in 2012. The park physically connects Downtown and the Uptown neighborhood and hosts daily programmed events, food trucks, and public amenities. Its construction as a major park directly above an interstate-style roadway is a notable example of urban freeway-capping in the United States.
