Menger Hotel and Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders

The Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio is historically linked to Theodore Roosevelt and the formation of the Rough Riders in 1898; Roosevelt recruited and organized volunteers in San Antonio prior to their deployment to the Spanish–American War.
