San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (Hyde Street Pier and historic ships)

San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park preserves Hyde Street Pier and a fleet of historic vessels, including the square-rigged ship Balclutha (built 1886) and other large historic craft. The pier and museum interpret the city's commercial and seafaring history and are managed by the National Park Service as part of the park. The site includes shipboard exhibits, a visitor center, and interpretive programs near Fisherman's Wharf.
