R. Q. Astin House

The R. Q. Astin House, also known as the Astin Mansion, is a historic residence located in Bryan, Texas, built in 1920 in the English Georgian Revival style. This architectural gem features 96 windows, 16 sets of French doors, and retains many original interior elements, including fixtures and a beautifully carved overmantle. Designed by architect Hal B. Thompson, the mansion reflects the legacy of the Astin family, influential in the development of the region. The estate also includes a converted carriage house and a charming children's playhouse.
