Romare Bearden Park

Romare Bearden Park is a public park in Uptown Charlotte named for artist Romare Bearden, who was born in Charlotte. The park opened in June 2010 and includes an amphitheater, sculptural elements, a large lawn, and landscaped gardens. It regularly hosts concerts, festivals, and community events and sits adjacent to the Levine Center for the Arts.
