Executive Building

The Executive Building, known as the Tower of Power, was a notable 15-storey structure in Brisbane, Australia, completed in 1970. It served as the office for nine Queensland premiers and was known for its unique architectural design that reflected Brisbane's sub-tropical climate. The building gained notoriety for a 1975 bomb attack and was referred to as 'Sir Joh's citadel' during power outages in 1985. After its closure in 2016, it was demolished in 2017 to make way for the Queens Wharf development, marking it as the tallest building in Brisbane to be demolished. The site is now part of Brisbane's evolving skyline, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
