Laramie State Bank Building

The Laramie State Bank Building, located at 5200 W. Chicago Avenue in the Austin community of Chicago, is a notable example of Art Deco architecture, designed by Meyer & Cook and completed in 1928. This Chicago Landmark features intricate terracotta ornamentation crafted by the Northwestern Terra Cotta Company. Originally serving as a bank, it has a rich history, including a period as the Federal Housing Administration's office and later as Citizens National Bank until its insolvency in 1991.
