New Brunswick Main Post Office

The Main Post Office in New Brunswick, New Jersey, is a historic building constructed between 1934 and 1936, showcasing Neo-Georgian architecture designed by Wesley Sherwood Bessell. Located in the Civic Square government district, it replaced an earlier post office and features striking red brick and brownstone. Notably, the building houses murals by artist George Biddle, depicting scenes from the American Revolutionary War, created as part of the WPA Federal Arts Project. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, highlighting its architectural and artistic significance.
