Francis McIlvain House

The Francis McIlvain House, built in 1869 in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, was a notable example of Second Empire architecture featuring a distinctive mansard roof and ashlar brownstone facade. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Unfortunately, this historic home was demolished in 2014, marking the loss of a piece of Philadelphia's architectural heritage.
