Brisbane Administration Centre

Northbank Plaza, formerly known as the Brisbane Administration Centre, is a prominent office building located at 69 Ann Street in Brisbane's central business district, just south of the historic Brisbane City Hall. Opened in 1975 to alleviate overcrowding in City Hall, it features 22 levels of office space and a small retail area on the ground floor. The building underwent a significant renovation in 2007 and now houses various tenants, including government agencies and private companies. The transformation of the BAC allowed for the restoration of City Hall's original meeting rooms, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in Brisbane's architectural and civic history.
