Marrett House

The Daniel Marrett House, built in 1789, is a historic house museum located in Standish, Maine, showcasing Greek Revival architecture. Once owned by the Marrett family, it features original furnishings and decor, including a parlor preserved as it was during a family wedding in 1847. The house served as a safe haven for gold during the War of 1812 and was donated to Historic New England in 1944. Visitors can explore this significant piece of local history through guided tours offered from June to mid-October.
