Ann Richards gravesite marker

The Texas State Cemetery in Austin contains the gravestone of former Texas Governor Ann Richards (1933–2006), who was interred there after her death in September 2006. The cemetery is the designated burial place for many prominent Texans and contains numerous tombstones and memorial markers for state officials and historical figures. The site is maintained by the Texas State Preservation Board and is open to the public for visitation and historical interpretation.
