Kubota Garden waterfalls

Kubota Garden is a roughly 20-acre Japanese-American public garden in the Rainier Beach neighborhood created by Fujitaro Kubota beginning in 1927. The garden contains ponds, streams, and man-made waterfalls and cascades that were constructed and refined over decades as central features of the landscape. These water features support local wildlife and are a frequent attraction for visitors and photographers. Kubota Garden is maintained by the City of Seattle and volunteer stewards.
