Make Way for Ducklings statues (Public Garden)

The bronze sculpture group Make Way for Ducklings, created by artist Nancy Schön, was installed in the Boston Public Garden in 1987 and depicts Mrs. Mallard and her eight ducklings from Robert McCloskey's children's book. The statues are located near the intersection of Charles and Beacon Streets in the Public Garden and are a popular local and tourist attraction, often visited by families and school groups. The work has become an enduring piece of Boston's civic art landscape.
