Vienna Town House

The Vienna Town House, built between 1854 and 1855, is a historic government building located in Vienna, Maine. This well-preserved example of transitional Greek Revival-Italianate architecture features a single-story wood-frame structure with a gabled roof and granite foundation. Notable for its symmetrical facade and elegant design, it was a gift from local native Joseph Whittier and continues to serve municipal functions. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, it offers visitors a glimpse into the architectural heritage of Maine's smaller communities.
