La Concha Motel lobby (Neon Museum Visitor Center)

The La Concha Motel lobby is a preserved mid-century modern architectural lobby that was moved to and now serves as the Neon Museum's visitor center on Las Vegas Boulevard North. The distinctive curved-shell concrete lobby was relocated to the museum campus and functions as the museum's entrance and interpretive installation, illustrating preservation of vintage Las Vegas architecture. It sits adjacent to the Neon Boneyard collection and is used for ticketing, exhibits and visitor orientation. The relocated lobby is a documented example of architectural salvage and reuse within the museum's installations.
