Château de Chaumont (La Serre-Bussière-Vieille)

Château de Chaumont, located in the picturesque Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, is a historic château currently undergoing extensive restoration. Built in 1886 for opera singer Eugénie Bardet, it later served as a refuge for Jewish children during World War II, playing a significant role in the rescue efforts of the OSE charity. After years of abandonment following a devastating fire in 1986, the château was purchased in 2022 by Dan Preston, who is revitalizing the property and sharing its story through media.
