SoWa art district - Harrison Avenue galleries and studios

SoWa (South of Washington) is an arts district in Boston's South End centered on warehouse buildings around 450 Harrison Avenue that house numerous artist studios and commercial galleries. The district organizes regular public events including monthly 'First Friday' gallery nights and a seasonal SoWa Open Market that showcases artists, galleries, and makers. SoWa transformed former industrial buildings into a concentrated contemporary art hub in Boston.
