Crescent Mill

Crescent Mill, also known as Merchant Mill No. 3, is a historic cotton textile mill located in Fall River, Massachusetts. Built in 1872, it showcases stunning Italianate architecture and is recognized as one of the city's architectural gems. The mill features a unique four-story structure made from local granite, with a notable column-free top floor. Originally powered by steam, it had a significant production capacity and was a key player in the textile industry until its closure in 1931. Now repurposed for light industrial use, Crescent Mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring the region's industrial heritage.
