New Daisy Theatre

The New Daisy Theatre opened in 1936 on Beale Street and became a prominent live-music venue hosting blues, R&B, and rock performances. Over decades it presented acts by both local Memphis musicians and nationally touring artists, contributing to Beale Street's reputation as a center of American music. The theater has undergone renovations and changes in operation while remaining a historic element of the Beale Street entertainment district.
