Hooper-Eliot House

The Hooper-Eliot House, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a historic Stick-style residence built in 1872. Designed by Sturgis & Brigham, it showcases a five-bay facade and a gambrel roof, marking an early example of the Georgian Revival movement. Notably, a new south-facing entry was added in 1902 by architect Lois Lilley Howe, enhancing its architectural significance. The house was acquired by Samuel Atkins Eliot the same year and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it a noteworthy site for both tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
