105 Barking Road

105 Barking Road is a historic former public hall located in Canning Town, London, notable for its Victorian architecture and significant ties to the suffragette and labour movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Designed by architect Lewis Angell and completed in 1894, this Grade II listed building has hosted prominent activists like Sylvia Pankhurst and Will Thorne. It served as a community relief center during disasters and has been a hub for educational and social events. Since 1993, it has been the headquarters of the charity Community Links, which revitalized the site for community use.
