Prudential Center and the Skywalk Observatory (closed)

The Prudential Center complex at 800 Boylston Street is a major Back Bay landmark whose Prudential Tower once hosted the Skywalk Observatory, a public observation deck that closed in 2013. Photographs of the Prudential Tower and the surrounding Prudential Center shopping and dining district are commonly circulated online as iconic city views. The site continues to generate widely shared images of the Back Bay skyline and seasonal public displays.
