Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre is a 1929 atmospheric-style movie palace and live-performance venue that anchors the downtown Houston Street corridor. It was designed in a Spanish Mediterranean Revival style and restored beginning in the 1970s to preserve its historic auditorium and façade. The theater remains an active performing arts venue hosting concerts, Broadway touring shows, and community events.
