Palazzo Turchi di Bagno

The Palazzo Turchi di Bagno is a historical palace located in Ferrara, Italy, designed by architect Biagio Rossetti in 1492 as part of the urban planning project known as the Addizione Erculea. Built starting in 1498, it was initially commissioned by Duke Ercole I d'Este and later sold to Aldobrandino Turchi. The palace has a simple architectural style, featuring brick construction and a notable entrance portal. After suffering damage during World War II, it was renovated and now serves as a university and museum building, housing the Botanical Garden of the University of Ferrara and the Museum of Palaeontology and Prehistory. Its historical significance and current educational use make it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
