Shree Durbar

Shree Durbar, also known as Shri Durbar, is a historic Rana palace located in Kathmandu, Patan, Nepal. Built in 1927 by Chandra Shumsher JBR, this architectural gem is situated near Patan Dhoka and the Lazimpat Durbar. Today, parts of the estate have been transformed into the neighborhood of Sri Durbar Tole, while the main building remains occupied by the descendants of Madan Shumsher JBR. Visitors can also explore the Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya, a notable library within the compound, making it a fascinating destination for both tourists and researchers interested in Nepal's royal history and culture.
