World Series of Poker at Rio - the world's largest live poker tournament series (historic venue)

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the largest annual live poker tournament series in the world by entries and prize pools; from 2005 through 2021 its live events were held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The WSOP grew into a global poker fixture during its years at the Rio, hosting thousands of players across dozens of bracelet events each summer. Organizers relocated the main WSOP festival to other venues beginning in 2022, but the Rio site is historically associated with the series' largest-era expansion.
