Musée Mécanique

Musée Mécanique is a free-admission arcade museum located on Fisherman's Wharf that houses one of the largest privately owned collections of antique coin-operated mechanical musical instruments, arcade machines, and automatons. Many of the machines are original early-20th-century devices that are operated for visitors on a coin basis. The collection is displayed in a contiguous space on Pier 45 and is a popular example of mechanical entertainment history in the city.
