Milgatw

Milgatw Farmhouse, located in Blaen-y-cwm near Tredegar, Wales, is a historically significant Grade II* listed building with origins dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, possibly even earlier. This unique farmhouse showcases local rubble stone construction and features a distinctive two-storey structure connected to a cow-shed. Although currently in a state of dereliction, Milgatw represents a rare example of an upland farmhouse in a region that underwent significant industrialization. Visitors can appreciate its architectural heritage and the remnants of its original thatching, alongside an adjacent range of mid-19th century agricultural buildings, which is also listed for its historical value.
