Norad Mill

The Norad Mill, located in Braytonville, North Adams, Massachusetts, is the oldest mill complex in the area with its original Italianate exterior largely intact. Established in 1832, it played a significant role in the local textile industry, particularly during the Civil War when it produced woolen goods. The mill has undergone various ownership changes and transformations, including a period of printing operations. It features a three-story brick structure with several 19th-century extensions and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
