The Denver Performing Arts Complex houses multiple theatres and performance venues, including the Buell Theatre and the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, and is widely described as one of the largest performing arts complexes in the United States by number of stages and square footage. It hosts the Denver Center Theatre Company, national touring productions, opera, ballet, and numerous festivals throughout the year. The complex spans several city blocks in downtown Denver and serves hundreds of performances and hundreds of thousands of attendees annually.
