Michael Sweetser House

The Michael Sweetser House, located at 15 Nahant Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts, is a historic timber-frame structure built around 1755 by early settler Michael Sweetser. This 2+1⁄2-story house showcases traditional Georgian architecture, with a front door surround added during the Greek Revival period in the mid-19th century. Notably, one of its 19th-century residents was Paul Hart Sweetser, a founder of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and a prominent local politician.
