Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument (Alice Paul and National Woman's Party)
By Seeker
The Sewall–Belmont House, now the Belmont–Paul Women's Equality National Monument, served as the longtime headquarters of the National Woman's Party and as a residence and office for suffrage leader Alice Paul. The site documents the party's activism for women's suffrage and later efforts for equal rights, including Paul’s leadership in drafting the Equal Rights Amendment. It is preserved and interpreted by the National Park Service as a place directly associated with those historical figures and movements.
