The Neon Museum (Neon Boneyard) preserving neon-sign technology

The Neon Museum nonprofit was founded in 1996 to preserve and document historic neon signs from Las Vegas casinos and businesses. Its Neon Boneyard, located near the north end of the Strip, collects and displays retired neon signage and opened to public tours in the 2000s, with expanded visitor facilities completed by the early 2010s. The museum is one of the earliest U.S. institutions dedicated specifically to the preservation of neon signage as part of industrial and design heritage. It houses restoration workshops that repair and conserve neon lighting and sign components.
