National Museum of American Jewish History - singular national museum on Independence Mall

The National Museum of American Jewish History, located on Independence Mall, is the United States’ national museum dedicated exclusively to documenting and interpreting the American Jewish experience. The museum’s current building opened on Independence Mall in 2010 and houses exhibitions, artifacts, and programs that trace Jewish life in America from colonial times to the present. It occupies a prominent site within Philadelphia’s historic civic and museum corridor.
