Duane Library

Duane Library, located on Fordham University's Rose Hill campus in New York, was originally built in 1926 and served as a library until its closure in 1997. Named after Father William J. Duane, the library features a stunning interior with a spiral staircase and oak paneling, capable of housing 150,000 volumes. After a significant renovation in 2004, it was repurposed to accommodate the university's admissions office and theology department. Notably, it houses a quarter-scale reproduction of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling fresco, adding a unique cultural attraction for visitors.
