Beth Sarim

Beth Sarim, meaning 'House of the Princes' in Hebrew, is a historic ten-bedroom mansion located in San Diego, California. Built in 1929, it was intended as a winter residence for Joseph Franklin Rutherford, the president of the Watch Tower Society, and as a future home for resurrected biblical figures such as Abraham and Moses. The mansion features Spanish architecture and is set on a beautifully landscaped property. Despite its initial purpose, it became a hub for Rutherford's work, where he wrote numerous publications until his death in 1942. Today, Beth Sarim stands as a unique piece of religious history, reflecting the beliefs and aspirations of the early Jehovah's Witnesses.
