Massachusetts State House (restricted public access areas)

The Massachusetts State House on Beacon Hill contains the offices of the governor and the chambers of the Massachusetts General Court (House and Senate). While public tours are offered, visitors must pass through security screening at the main entrance and many internal offices and legislative workspaces are restricted to authorized personnel or by appointment. Official legislative sessions and certain executive functions are conducted in secured areas not open to unsupervised public access.
