Ananias Pitsenbarger Farm

Ananias Pitsenbarger Farm, located in Dahmer, West Virginia, is a historic home and farm complex dating back to 1845. The property features a main house with a unique blend of architectural styles, including a 2+1⁄2-story section and a later addition from 1900. Visitors can explore 15 contributing outbuildings, such as a stable, woodworking shop, and a large double-crib log hay barn, as well as the Pitsenbarger Cemetery. Known as 'Loafer's Glory' for its hospitality and production of hard cider and apple brandy, the farm is now home to the Loafer's Glory Log Cabin Resort & Event Venue and Dry Run Spirits distillery. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers alike.
