Project Row Houses

Project Row Houses is an arts and community development organization in Houston's Third Ward founded in 1993 by Rick Lowe and collaborators. The project repurposed local shotgun-style houses into gallery, studio, housing, and community spaces that host exhibitions, artist residencies, and long-term neighborhood programs. It is recognized for integrating contemporary art practice with social services and arts education locally.
