2016 Ohio State University vehicle-ramming and stabbing at Thompson Library

On November 28, 2016, a vehicle-ramming and stabbing attack occurred on the Ohio State University campus near and inside the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library. The attacker, later identified as Abdul Razak Ali Artan, drove into pedestrians and then began stabbing people; 11 people were injured and the attacker was shot and killed by an Ohio State University police officer. The incident prompted a campus-wide lockdown and investigations by campus and federal law enforcement.
