Gardiner Wright Mansion

The Gardiner Wright Mansion, also known as The Marsh House, is a historic regency mansion located in Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. Built in 1841, this two-story stuccoed brick dwelling features a unique design with two parallel rectangular sections and a central hall. The mansion underwent extensive renovations in the late 1940s and is complemented by a contributing wood shed and a two-level milk house on the property. Recognized for its historical significance, the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, making it an interesting destination for tourists and researchers alike.
