Heurich House Museum (Brewmaster's Castle)

The Heurich House Museum was built in 1892–1894 for brewer Christian Heurich and is a well-preserved example of late-19th-century domestic architecture in Washington, D.C. The Romanesque Revival townhouse retains original furnishings, decorative finishes, and many family collections. It operates as a historic house museum offering guided tours and exhibits about the Heurich family and Washington brewing history.
