Willa Cather Birthplace

The Willa Cather Birthplace, located near Gore, Virginia, is a historic log home where the Pulitzer Prize-winning author Willa Cather was born in 1873. Built in the early 19th century by her great-grandfather, the house has undergone several expansions and was once home to Cather's grandmother, Rachel E. Boak.
