Hennen Building

The Hennen Building, also known as the Canal-Commercial Building, is a historic 11-story skyscraper located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Recognized as the city's first skyscraper, it held the title of tallest building from 1895 to 1904. Originally built in the Chicago style, the building underwent renovations in 2009 to transform it into a mixed-use space featuring luxury apartments and commercial areas. In 2021, it was converted into a timeshare resort, offering visitors a unique blend of history and modern amenities in the heart of New Orleans' Central Business District.
